Coreen is a Colorado gal living in Northern Italy. She has dedicated her entire career to managing operations for endurance sports events, including running, triathlon, and cycling races. Her first visit to Italy was in 2001, and she made the big life decision to move there full time in 2009. Coreen immediately hooked up with a cycling tour company and became a cycling tour guide, for cyclists coming to ride the famous mountain passes in Italy and France. This year she is working as the European operations manager for cycling tours, and is thrilled to be on board with Racescapes Trail Camps to launch their new trail running camps and tours.
She brings a valuable depth of profesional experience in race organizing, event management, chip timing, and tour management where detailed organization and preciseness is mandatory.
Her role with Racescapes is Program Coordinator and Tour Guide.
Gian Marco Mazzocchi
Gian Marco comes from Mantova, a small town in Northern Italy.
He was trained as an engineer and has a professional background in IT.
While taking a break from enterprise applications projects, he spent a few years living in sunny Colorado, where he enjoyed the mountains, went back to school to get his MBA and did sales for race timing systems and event services. That’s where he found his soul mate, Coreen.
Gian Marco is obsessed with running and triathlon and all that’s related to the sports. He’s now been racing for twelve years, but still feels his heart racing every time he gets to the start line.
